Cape Hatteras Bed and Breakfast is a nine-room, smoke-free, AAA three
diamond rated inn located in the village of Buxton near the famous
Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The ocean is just 500 feet from the front
door. Also within a short distance of the inn are clothing and gift
shops, restaurants, surf shops, a windsurfing shop and a bookstore.
Cape Hatteras Bed & Breakfast
is situated just two miles south of the well-known East Coast windsurfing
and kiteboarding site Canadian Hole. The rooms are named after famous
hurricanes and each has its own private bath, cable TV, small refrigerator,
coffee pot with complimentary in-room coffee and tea set-up and some
rooms have microwaves. There are rooms with two beds, queen size,
king size rooms and efficiencies. Amenities include a sundeck with
comfortable furniture, table and chairs and the use of a gas grill
if the guests choose. In addition there are H/C outdoor showers, lockable
surfboard and sailboard storage, bicycles, beach chairs, coolers and beach
bags. Travel light and keep us in mind for quick escapes, sanity breaks,
and relaxing vacations.
 There are Gift Certificates available for that birthday, anniversary,
Christmas or special occasion for family or friends. Let us know if
you would like a special wine or goodie tray to greet someone in their room upon
arrival.
A telephone is available for your use in the lobby. A full breakfast
is served from 8 AM to 10 AM daily that will satisfy even the heartiest
of appetites. Let us know ahead if you have dietary concerns, we will do our
best to serve you within these restrictions.

All rates are subject to a 12% lodging tax. A deposit of 50% of total
amount is due by check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard) at time
of reservation. Balance is due upon arrival.
*There is a 3 night minimum
during the In Season and on holiday weekends. There is a 2 night
minimum on weekends and for efficiency units. Occasionally rooms are available
for 1 night stays. Call for information.
All
rates are based on double occupancy. Children under 12 stay free
with an accompanying adult in the same room. There is a $10 per child per
night charge for children ages 13-18 with an accompanying adult in the
same room.
There are no refunds for early departure or no-shows.
Cancellations are only accepted 7 days prior to arrival date. In
case of mandatory storm evacuation the deposit is refunded less a
$15 handling fee. Deposit may be refunded if room can be rented,
less a $15 handling fee.
No pets are allowed. Smoking is permitted outside
only.
