Many of our homes are Dog Friendly meaning that you don't need to leave a member of your family at home! Dogs are allowed on Hatteras Island beaches and Fido can easily be a special guest on your special day! Use our advanced search and select the “dog-friendly” search criteria to find a dog friendly vacation home for your special event.

It doesn’t get any better than a week at the beach! Hatteras Island offers an array of activities, from the beach to the Gulf Stream. Your friends and family can enjoy everything from surfing and kiteboarding to offshore fishing, shell collecting and beach bonfires.
Our local restaurants feature fresh seafood and many offer evening entertainment from karaoke to live bands.
Getting Married on the Beach in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore
You will need a special permit to hold your wedding within the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This includes all oceanfront beaches and the grounds of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The permit has a fee and takes about 15 days to process, so plan ahead. For more information call 252-473-2111.
