Danny Register

Danny is the vice president of business development and executive vice president to Dale Petty, CEO and owner, at Surf or Sound Realty. His leadership role involves overseeing homeowner acquisition and retention efforts. He is responsible for adding new premier homes annually and ensuring high satisfaction and partnership levels with existing homeowners. Danny relocated to Hatteras Island with his family in January 2017 to join Surf or Sound Realty and improve their quality of life. He thoroughly enjoys living on the Island and values serving the company's homeowners, prioritizing their financial and operational interests.

Before joining Surf or Sound Realty, Danny had a successful career in the beverage and food distribution industry spanning 21 years. He worked for Virginia's largest Miller-Coors Beer Distributor for 12 years, starting as a driver-salesman and progressing to the role of area sales manager. During this time, he cultivated strong relationships with key decision-makers at major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Food Lion, 7-11, national chain restaurants, and various grocery and convenience stores in Virginia. Later, Danny transitioned to the custom food service distribution industry with Golden State Foods (GSF). Over his nine-year tenure at GSF, he led transportation and warehouse operations at their Suffolk, VA Distribution Center. Additionally, he was responsible for managing relationships with over 150 Chick-fil-A owner-operators and 200 Starbucks managers in the Mid-Atlantic States. Throughout his career, Danny has built a reputation for his reliability, fulfilling commitments, and providing exceptional customer service.
