The 2022 Buxton beach nourishment project will include 2.9 miles of shoreline from the Haulover Day Use Area north of Buxton to the beachfront near the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. This project is scheduled to take place between May and December 2022; however, the projected start dates, end dates and duration of each individual project are not yet available.
