COVID-19 Update

As a leading vacation property management company, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our guests, homeowners and staff.

For the most updated information on this virus, please refer to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or your local health authority.

Travel restrictions:

Dare County is currently under a travel restriction blocking visitor access to the Outer Banks as of Tuesday March 17 at 2:00 pm.

Dare County added Non-resident property owners to the travel restriction as of March 20 at 10:00 pm.

Vacationers and property owners already on the Outer Banks are not being asked to leave. You are permitted to stay until the end of your planned vacation.

3/31/20 Update:

We are calling our incoming guests individually, using the phone number we have on file for the leaseholder, to talk through the options that they have available for a credit towards a future stay in the same home in 2020, or a refund if they won't be able to come to visit Hatteras Island later this year.

We have already reached out to all of our guests due to arrive on the weekend of March 21 or March 28 and we are currently in the process of contacting guests due to arrive the weekend of April 4.

We thank all of the guests who we have already contacted for their kindness and understanding, and we look forward to speaking with each of our guests impacted by this travel restriction, on a week by week basis, to assist them in making their vacation decisions.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the high volume of reservations each week. Our hopes remain that this passes us quickly so that we may welcome each of our guests to Hatteras Island as initially planned.

Our rental policy for upcoming guest arrivals:

We have changed our rental policy as follows: If the travel restriction issued on March 17, 2020 by Dare County is not lifted prior to the end of your scheduled lease term with us, then we will provide a refund or a credit towards a future stay in the home you rented.

Because we do not know when the travel restriction will be lifted, any refunds or credits will occur on a week by week basis, following the end of your planned stay. We thank you again for your understanding, and we sincerely hope this comes to an end quickly so that we can see you here at the beach soon.
